'Music gives me an opportunity to get people thinking a bit more,' he says. Underpinned by one of the finest pop-soul voices to come out of the UK in years, Josh has an innate ability to impart life lessons with a profound mind and a pop sensibility. Yet, it’s been far from an easy ride for the young singer and songwriter, which can be seen, heard and felt in his music – the beautiful lament of Highlight Of My Day, the elegiac S.O.S, the current release hit Redemption Days and the absolutely massive Birthday. With an intensely spiritual integrity and an undeniable commercial appeal, Osho makes classic songwriting look absolutely effortless. Existence is not a journey, it is a celebration. At just 20 years-old, Josh Osho has the life experiences of a person twice his age. Whenever you see a mahatma, RUN as fast as you can before he puts some guilt in your mind. Mahatmas are either sadists or masochists – avoid! Some mahatma may catch hold of him, andĪgain put the same idea that ”this is unnatural”.

I am notĬertain how long he will remain free and unburdened. I could see a great burden, a mountain that was on his head, was gone. Man makes everything in his own way – that is HIS More intelligence, you have more possibilities. He will never invite, he will not call hisįriends:’Come on!’ That is natural to a dog, but you are not dogs you are far superior. Keep everybody at the back, and will be in a hurry to eat. You give something to a dog: he will immediately go into a corner and will Is it wrong to eat cooked food? To invite people to your house for a drink or for lunch is unnaturalīecause no animal ever invites any other animal – because animals in fact always go in privacy No animal wears clothes is it a perversion? To cook food is unnatural – no animal has ever done it! Unnatural, because no animal lives – so is it a perversion? Or to wear clothes is abnormal, because Man is the only animal who finds new ways. Consciousness is very narrow, almost nil. You can put the CHOICEST food – she will not bother she will go on eating her grass. You can go and see a buffalo eating grass – she only eats a certain grass, nothingĮlse. I said, ”They don’t have that much intelligence! They live a fixed life. ”But,” he said, ”animals – they don’t become homosexual.” Not unnatural? It is not a perversion? It is not some sort of abnormality?” Immediately I could see he was coming out of the ditch his face started smiling. The unnatural happen in the first place?” I said, ”How can it be unnatural? My definition of nature is: that which happens is natural. He said, ”It is not unnatural?” He was surprised and shocked. I told him, ”So what! Why do you say it is unnatural?” Alone he cannot do that job very well, so he is askingīut he has come to a wrong person. Mahatmas to come and make him feel guilty. Is ready! to fall into the hands of any torturer. Shankaracharya, what would have happened? They would have really made him feel guilty. It is unnatural.” Now, if he had gone to Mahatma Gandhi, or to the Vatican Pope, or to Puri’s Just the other night, a young man came and he said, ”I feel very very guilty about my homosexuality. They are neither, they are simply not the end. And stop looking at certain sexual orientations as "good" or "bad" or whatever. I don't know much about it, but I know the answers you're getting so far in this thread are not adequate. Certain strings pulling you, and preventing you. But if you pay attention, you'll become aware of certain limitations. It's natural and there's nothing wrong in it. It is completely unconscious behavior, sex-driven and animalistic. People are so limited, the way they lust after a particular "type" of person. He would say the same thing about heterosexuals, and pretty much everyone else, too. Osho would probably say that homosexuals are limited, or "stuck," at a particular spot on the ladder of love. Osho described love as a ladder, which leads to the quality of "lovingness." The answer to your question is not as simple as you probably want to hear. Until a person loves everything, and becomes love. The point is, a person's love starts with himself (or herself), and slowly evolves (grows) over time to include other people, even people dissimilar to yourself, with different energy, even strangers, even objects and trees. For example, a man can have feminine energy, and a woman can sometimes have predominantly masculine energy. I think he wasn't talking about biological gender so much, though he focused more on energy.
